Recieved call saying there was a law suit against me from HMRC and to press 1 to speak to my case officer!! - i just hung up. Terrible to try and scare and scam people. Shame on them.

I have just been called by this number, saying the same as above. I did press 1 but nothing happened, must have run out of time. Rang 1471 which gave this number I rang it and it just told me to leave a message. Is it a scam! Very worrying.

My mother has just received a call from this number - it was an automated call saying it was official and involving a law suite regarding HMRC.

We did not press 1 to proceed. My mother is 89 and finds these calls very worrying
