These caller types keep wanting you to answer some questions (though they deny it's a survey) all the information they want is so they can sell you answers to OTHER telemarketing companies.

great comment- as annoying as these calls are sometimes i use them for my own entertainment, have a little chat, ask them for their bank details etc- its easy enough to hang up when you know something is dodgy, the people I feel for are the old/vulnerable
