The stupidity of frausters claiming to be from BT but using a USA phone number persuaded them to hang up when challenged

Have had several calls from this number over the past few days. At least four today. If it goes to answerphone they hang up.
February 9, 2017 I've also had a very persistent caller from this number. Phoned about 5 times. Eventually just let the phone ring until it got fed up.
February 6, 2017 Called twice today, early morning, silent caller.
February 6, 2017 claimed to be from BT saying my internet wasn't working
February 2, 2017 Keeps calling me, at 9-10 am. when i say i am not with bt, they hang up.
