October 24, 2017 I had the same recorded message saying they were from HMRC and I had to ring back to avoid going to court
October 24, 2017 This is a scam call. I worked for HMRC for 15 years & they would NOT phone you to tell you that you are being taken to court. HMRC will always contact you by letter, with official phone number, reference number, return address & contact name.
October 24, 2017 Received fraudulent scam call - person and recorded voice message call stating they were calling from London Head Office HMRC with the phone number 01613540608 saying I'd committed serious tax offence and this was my last chance to avoid serious law suit
