Said my sky card had run out so no TV. An Indian man wanted to know my bank details to replace the card so that I could get TV again. This is a scam. Cards do not run out from Sky TV.

An Asian woman called today and said my Virgin card was about to run out. I don't have virgin tv but have broadband and telephone. She offered a 25% discount as a pensioner and then asked me to confirm bank details. I said I do not give that info over the
April 25, 2021 this is a scam to get your bank details from you, do not give them to anyone over phone.
i have spoken to Virgin Media and reported them and they said i am not the first call about this, they say the need to send a new viewing card and need to update bank
They said it was sky and said they were replacing my mums sky card. They also said that as a pensioner she was offered 25% discount.
They knew her personal details which worries me. I do know this is not a sky number as listed on their website.
Sky scam - They will try and save you money! Regarding a viewing card but its all a con to get card etc details
