Same as the rest - female voice message telling me my credit card has been compromised and telling me to press 1 - I hung up - I just prey everyone else who received this call does the same.

April 25, 2021 my credit card was compromised in the last 24 hrs..But they didn't have the card issuers details or my name etc etc could i give them a few details........Note haven't used card in a while......put phone down on them
April 25, 2021 Called saying credit card was compromised hung up and called back the number but no one answered.
April 25, 2021 Like others above, started with a recorded message saying my credit card had been compromised. On pressing 1, an American male answered and started to rabbit on. I said "this sounds like a scam - b****r-off" on which he immediately hung up!
April 25, 2021 Got a call from this number today at 2.19pm saying as others have reported that credit card has been compromised, hung up immediately, feel like everyone else that we should with today's technology be able to trace and prosecute these people.

April 25, 2021 Answered an automated call this morning, with a pre recorded female saying'alert, alert, your card has been compromised, press 1 '. Having had a genuine call from credit card company in the past , knew this was not how they would do it, so put down phone.

I didn't of course and checked online so am adding my experience to everyone else.
These people should be jailed as some poor person will fall for it , scum of the earth
April 25, 2021 Called me today at 10.00 am. As soon as I heard the words "credit card" I pressed the red button and ended the call.
This is a BT London re-traceable number and should be reported to the police.
