illigitamate HRMC Hoax call to get you to pay a fine so 'HMRC' wont take you to court.
Elderly mother had a call saying she'd not responded to a letter, that they were going to make her bankrupt, that the post office had evidence of posting a letter to her and they had been to Court without her and she owed money.
April 25, 2021 Message left to say I owed HMRC money and should press 1 to speak to an advisor, hence to say I didn't.
April 25, 2021 Said recorded call from HMRC taking us to court for tax evasion.
Load of rubbish did not take call any further as knew it was bogus
SAME SORT OF CALL supposedly FROM HMRC Telling me I was being sued and to press 1 to speak to a policeman. Needless to say !!!!!! tosspots!!
