I'm not sure why people are saying the are scammers pretending to be EE, the number is on their actual site as one of their direct partner numbers. However I still would not recommend picking up as EE broadband has terrible service. My advice is head for

Called saying they where from EE which I have, then they wanted me to confirm my name, they could not tell me my name, then they wanted my mothers maiden name.

Very strange, not sure if it was scammers so I hung up the phone anyway.
