Claimed to be BT broadband but could provide no details of the account. Initially tried to go down the he route of consequences if I didn’t believe him, but then realised he was not going to win this call and he hung up on me (how rude!)

I had the same experience as Dani. I'd cut them off as they couldn't give me any details of our BT account when they said that our internet was about to be cut off. I phoned BT and they confirmed that our internet service was ok and the call was probably
April 25, 2021 Caller said they were from by and that if I didn't follow thier instructions they would cut off my internet. When I said I wanted to call br self to check the credibility of the call she got very abusive.
